An Entrepreneurship Awareness Program was successfully organized at Sanmati Engineering College on the occasion of World Youth Skills Day, with the objective of motivating students to embrace entrepreneurship as a promising career option and to create awareness about various government initiatives that support self-employment and enterprise development. The program was jointly organized by the District Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Guidance Center, Washim, and the Swavalamban Kendra, an initiative of the Swadeshi Jagaran Manch and Swawlambi Bharat Abhiyan.


The institution extends its heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Secretary Adv. Vaishali Walchale Ma'am, Director Hon. Prasanna Walchale Sir, Hon. Niraj Walchale Sir, and Principal Dr. A. W. Kolhatkar Sir for their constant encouragement, visionary leadership, and unwavering support in facilitating such enriching academic and career-oriented initiatives. Their continued guidance and commitment to holistic student development provide invaluable opportunities that empower students to broaden their horizons, enhance their professional competencies, and confidently pursue entrepreneurship and innovation as pathways to a successful future.

The event commenced with a warm welcome of the dignitaries, followed by an introduction to the significance of entrepreneurship in today's rapidly evolving economic landscape. The program emphasized the importance of innovation, skill development, self-reliance, and employment generation, encouraging students to become job creators rather than job seekers.


The keynote session was delivered by Mrs. Vaishali Pawar, representing the District Skill Development Department, Washim. In her inspiring address, she elaborated on the vast opportunities available for aspiring entrepreneurs through various government schemes, startup initiatives, financial assistance programs, and skill development missions. She encouraged students to identify their strengths, develop innovative ideas, and cultivate the confidence and determination required to establish successfull.
